Role with AIFE: Deputy Vice President – Transnational Education (TNE)

Mr Rob Wilson is Deputy Vice President – Transnational Education (TNE) at AIFE, where he supports the strategic development and delivery of transnational education initiatives across AIFE’s global partner network.
Mr. Wilson is an experienced senior higher education leader with a strong background in transnational education, international partnerships, and global program delivery across the Australian and UK higher education sectors.

Prior to joining AIFE, Mr. Wilson served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Tasmania, where he led international strategy, global engagement, and the development of international education initiatives. He also held leadership roles at Coventry University, including Deputy Director of the Academic Partnership Unit, where he played a key role in delivering transnational education partnerships across multiple countries.

His experience includes leading offshore program development, strengthening global university partnerships, and ensuring alignment with academic quality standards and regulatory frameworks across diverse institutional contexts.

With extensive experience in managing complex, multi-institutional education initiatives, Mr. Wilson brings strong expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and the scalable delivery of transnational education programs.

At AIFE, Mr. Wilson is responsible for supporting the expansion of transnational education programs, strengthening delivery frameworks, and working with partner institutions to ensure consistent, high-quality, and compliant program delivery across AIFE’s global network.
